Yes, Shasta Lake is at 96% with storms coming. They reduced their outflow to 49,000cfs to relieve some of the pressure on the Sacramento river. Just in case.

The Sacramento river is only two feet below flood stage in downtown Sacramento and some levees are breaking in the delta...islands being evacuated.

Shasta dam is going to have to open the floodgates to avoid potential disaster there involving 4.5 million acre feet.

30 feet of snow in the mountains. And it’s not even spring yet.

Shasta Dam (concrete arch) is at 96%. For the first time in over a decade, they just opened 10 flow gates. Shasta was holding off with the Oroville thing, trying to relieve some pressure on the Sac River, but they’ve got to get their level down, too. So they’re releasing 70Kcps now.

Dams, bridges, underground water systems, time to get those infrastructure projects up and moving.
