The gown contained colors of red, white, and blue, with glitzy silver lettering and was designed by Andre Soriano. This daring political stance prompted much discussion and made headlines in the media.

It looked like a dam tee-shirt, but I do appreciate what she did. The dress was not “beautifully made” haha.
We should honor her bigly. The amount of courage it took to do that is not easily measured!

I was pretty sure it was a publicity stunt, and I warned my wife that she would probably get up on stage and strip it off. Never happened however. I guess we shall see.
May God bless her courage. I just bought her album “I Make the Static”. And it’s really good!
It doesn’t matter if she is a Trump voter or not.
She sucked all the air out of the room and stole the show from all those arrogant, snobbish, Trump bashing lefties.
So I say “Well done!”
If it weren’t for her combination of color, gender and surname, I suspect she would have been violently evicted. She caught them off-guard, waiting for the Hive Mind to tell them how to react. They’ll be prepared next time.

Yeah, but it proves the point that the way to get noticed is to buck the Hollywood establishment, not by being conformist.
It might start a trend where people who want to be “edgy” and “rebels” start doing the same thing.
She is not a conservative. Went and listened to some of her music. She is not a conservative. She very wisely figured out a way to shotgun her name out for millions worth of free publicity. Pretty genius.
