Look at all that water! This is our first look from the base of the main spillway at Lake Oroville since the emergency spillway was used. Here’s the latest update: https://goo.gl/wEVu1O

Another article describing some of the other work going on at the Dam. It appears that the debris at the bottom of the spillway has created a situation where the generators and bypass (if available) are not available to move water. They are taking steps to clear that mess. The power lines that PG&E removed are in this area, and are not those that lead from the dam to the main substation to the west. So once the mess is cleared, they should be able to run the generation again.
