Let me thank you AB for reliably doing this thread every week and let me thank the commenters who join in and help us flesh it out. Thank you Bray for weekly wisdom and thank those who jump into the thread and have enough class not to tell us how noble and wonderful they are that they never watch the Sunday talk shows.

Week Just Passed
You know the Democrats/liberals jumped into the Ivanka spat, what with the wonderful Nordstrams, a store I never bought a single thing at in my life, dropping Ivanka’s line with a few others joining in. So Kelly Conway shouts out a quick promo during some interview or another and go with me on this….this week I WILL buy something from Ivanka Trump’s line.
I just hope she sells plus sizes.
DeVos and Price got approved for Trump’s cabinet and heh, you’ll never believe what the 9th circuit court did. I know you will be shocked but they spit on the constitution and ordered immigrants to come in at will, fooey on this elected president.
Let me tell you a theory I have on this matter. I believe that passports or whatever is needed to get into this country, are, or WERE, very much up for sale with the Obama/Clinton gang. Now that Trump is putting in his cabinet I believe Trump got wind of this, that many thousands of immigrants were do to enter the country as many as possible for such as Sessions and other pains in the butt get in power.
I believe that Trump got wind of a lot of stuff and is methodically trying to deal with draining that swamp because that’s what it is, a swamp. They bought off a couple of judges and are now furiously trying to import as many as they can, and collect the promised monies, before Trump’s people get appointed, debated on, sworn in and get to know their way around.
Finally, a Delaware note.
I don’t know if y’all heard but about a week and a half ago Delaware had a major, major takeover of one of our prisons. I would remind yon readers that there is a huge prison about five miles from my own self, though this particular prison was further upstate.
A corrections officer was brutally, BRUTALLY, murdered, after being tortured for over 23 hours. Our beloved liberal Governor was too scared to send in reinforcements and this CO died because liberals should smoke pot and shut up.
They buried the guy yesterday, and also there was a female CO that was held captive as well. She lived but goodness knows what horrors she suffered during that hostage situatiion.
On a Personal Note
So I found a box of stuff in my garage. Y’all know how that goes. Stuff stored in garages tends to stay there forever until one gets hinky like me and decides to clean it out. I found many, many pictures of myself. Well the rest of my family too but I was very surprised at how many pics I saved from my life.
I put them in chronological order and pondered on and on.
I spent my life thinking I was hideously ugly and hugely fat and as I look at these pictures I kind of laugh.
I was really pretty!
Now before y’all go saying I have no humility….fooey on it, I spent a lifetime thinking I was horrible malformed so I paid the price.
Why I wasn’t even particularly fat, dear Lord, what was I thinking? Sure I wasn’t the next Twiggy but for the most part I was average with a little pudge. By me I thought I was an elephant in human clothes.
I wasn’t particularly stylish as I look at the pictures. Well that was because I was not worth the trouble. But I wasn’t hideous or ugly and here’s a smile. I came across a picture of me, it was from a Parents Without Partners dance. I don’t know what it was about that picture but dear Lord I was positively gorgeous in that picture! I was posing with two men, one on the right, one on the left and again, if that picture wasn’t me I’d be remarking what a pretty woman this was. Someday I’ll put up that pic (I had to take pictures of these pictures because they were all poloroids) but I’m still trying to get over the regret I have for spending my life hating myself.
Although I always thought I was smart, clever, witty.
Anyway, I am ready to begin my Bucket list. I have already made it through the bottom level of Maslow’s hierarchy. If you took Psychology 101 you probably know about Maslow’s hierarchy, which is a pyramid type shape depiction of human life.
We begin at the bottom, which are basic needs.
I had to do a little adjustment to my basic needs.
I got five bottom bricks to my life hierarchy.
There’s my pets. Now I know one does not need pets to live but I do. So I took all pets to the Vet, this Vet who is really odd, heh, and they are all healthy and happy. There’s my shelter, the house in which I live that no longer is lived in by my beloved husband and two years were lost with a crazy daughter. Now I want my shelter to reflect my living situation as it is now….no daughter, no husband.
There’s my own self and this includes several sub-categories. My health, which at my age and with my DNA needs must be watched. My looks, because happy people do their best to look neat and keep themselves clean. My bucket list spiral perm falls in that category.
There’s my finances, which is something that keeps me alive. I have handled the house across the street that my daughter destroyed and I’m not rich but I got a handle on this.
Do not laugh, but having a vehicle is very important so along with my pets at the bottom of my Maslow’s hierarchy I include the Jeep.
I thought I would wake up Jan. 2 and my NY resolutions would automatically kick in. But it took a month to get these basic needs under control.
Oh, and daughter took ten thousand dollars cash for that house, what a lovely person she is, huh? And she lost complete custody of her daughter.
ALL WITH THE HELP OF THE GUBMINT.
Now that the bottom of my hierarchy is under control. I move to my next layer on Maslow’s hierarchy.
I will be vindicated and I will see to it that the awful people who beat the hell out of ME to protect my evil child will be made to pay.

Thanks for thread A.B. A bit disheartened by the myriad of roadblocks, but thankful of the many progresses, especially grateful not having the witch installed in the WH. The battle against the evil media will be a long one.
