The Trump administration signaled late this week that it will not defend controversial federal guidelines that had been issued by Obama for transgender students.
In the first concrete sign that a Trump White House will take a different path on transgender issues, the administration dropped the federal government's challenge to an injunction that blocked implementation of the guidelines, which directed schools to allow students to choose the bathroom that corresponds with their claimed gender identity.
Last year, after more than 12 states filed legal challenges to the Obama administration's new interpretation of Title IX to bar discrimination based on gender identity as well as sex, in schools that receive federal dollars, Judge Reed O’Connor of the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Texas issued the injunction. It was appealed by the Obama administration, which argued that the new guidelines should apply in states that had not appealed the new Title IX rules.

I’m sure that somehow, someway, Judge Robart and a three panel from the 9th Circuit will find some way to stick their arrogant noses into this. Just because the Government won’t defend a leftist policy doesn’t mean the leftists will let it die. (mild satire)

On a side note, my daughter’s teacher told her to no longer use “he or she” in writing because it doesn’t include those that don’t identify as either.
I think there are more than 30 gender types now.
How would the school have accommodated a bathroom policy for all of them?
Last I checked there's only two genders with an occasional error but it's very rare; consistent facts don't seem to be available but it seems about 1 in approx 2000 births are "those types".
On a side note, home school your kid or get that POS teacher fired and whomever supports this crap. They are and have been known as personal pronouns for centuries.
Kind of hard for those who ignore actual law to bitch about not following guidelines.....would be like actually putting on the dunce cap instead of keeping it hidden under the robes.
Good. Now, what about dropping the insane policy to allow “transgenders” in the military? This is a policy that is being rolled out and has the potential to cause all kinds of mayhem. The military is supposed to start training people on this. Accepting “transgenders” as being the gender they claim, not the gender they are, is supposed to be inclusionary and non-discriminatory. However, allowing men to run the women’s physical fitness test under the pretext that they are women with penises is horribly unfair to the women. Plus, women typically do not want men in the locker room, even if they claim to be women. Even if these mentally ill men go through castration and load themselves up with female hormones, I have serious doubts whether their muscle mass will actually drop.
I do not think that there will actually be droves of people claiming to be the opposite gender joining the military—their numbers have been grossly exaggerated by the media. However, even if just one joins, they are going to cause problems in the units where they are posted.
I do not think that those who want to treat gender dysphoria as if the man claiming to be female is really female have thought through all of the consequences. This is a mental illness and should be treated as such.

The confused part is in the brain. A clear sign of mental illness. They should be treated accordingly.
I know a teacher - she’s 35 and teaches high school. She tried to tell me that 1 in 10 children is actually born with both sets of genitalia. Nobody realizes this because the doctors quickly take the baby at birth, do whatever they have to do to make it either one sex or the other, then return it to the mother without saying a word.
I stared at her in stunned disbelief. All I could say is, “This is what the ministry is telling you people? And you actually believe this?” She believed it. That’s who is teaching today.
That's crazy. Why do we let these people teach. I think a mental health evaluation might need to be in order to see if she can discern between fantasy and reality. She could have look edit up online or in tons of other medical reference books. The danger with online sources is that they can be skewed with false facts by the Minister of Propaganda if the searches are centralized (as with Google) and more easily disseminated to the massesto mislead. The truth becomes what you tell them it is in a Soros' controlled world.if he has his hands in their cookie jar too (which he probably does in some manner), I don't think the leftists understand how easily they are led by their noses to believe anything their manipulators tell them.
