This must be what Trump’s press conference coming up is about.
I hope he nails it, because otherwise we’re well and truly....
He has the opportunity to absolutely kick the left in the nuts today, and show he means business. I hope he does that...
If he meanwhile talks about taking this to the SC, and the “process”, we may as well bring out muskets...
The problem with that tactic is that you (and any associates) would then be in a state of unlawful rebellion.
The bottom line is that Congress represents the supreme branch of government. Both the executive, and to a much greater degree, the judiciary, are subsidiary to the peoples' representatives.
If Congress is willing to choose to delegate their constitutionally designated rule as legislators to the judiciary, then that is their right. However, it is of course the right of the people themselves to then choose their own government and replace current representatives through lawful democratic means.
I'm heartened to see a number of posters on this thread are now beginning to correctly identify the root cause of this conflict. The judiciary is simply using the entire range of discretionary allowance that has been provided them by Congress.
It doesn't matter what the Constitution says or how many airtight laws, EO and other legal communications mean if the judiciary is given carte blanche by Congress to both implement, interpret and execute their decisions.
