Trump's relentless chatter is meant to DISRUPT and poke holes in the media's anti-Trump MOMENTUM. Although unbefitting at times, he has proven this tactic successful. This is how he shut Hillary down and landed himself in the WH. She could never build momentum.

Thanks. With regard to my comparison with blacks vs whites, it was even later than WW2 when Jim Crow was still in place in the South. I do not appreciate being held responsible for Jim Crow just because I am a white man. I did not support it, I wasn't around for it, and I'm glad that it no longer exists. I'm sure that the vast majority of Japanese people similarly did not support their nation's actions in WW2 and do not appreciate being held responsible for something that they weren't around for and didn't support.

To do otherwise would be to legitimize black rage against whites for Jim Crow, slavery and other injustices done in the past. If we are unable to move past history, then we are doomed to always be at each other's throats.

Actually, right now, SCOTUS would not support.

He would get a 4-4 tie, which affirms the lower (9th) court ruling.

Let is sit a month or two, get a 5-4 court, and then move EVERYTHING through that court.

Remember, Schwarzkopf took almost 6 months to build up his forces in SWA, then closed it out in 100 hours!

This is no longer about chatter. This is about the TACTICS needed to win.

Fox Business channel usually carries these as well as the Spicer pressers every day. Varney in the a.m. and Dobbs in the p.m. are both very good. Trish Regan is also good (she comes on at 11 a.m. my time).

It’s a joint one with PM Abe of Japan (they’re meeting at the WH now - Trump is flying him down to Mar-a-lago on AF1 and putting Abe and his wife up there as a “gift”. Melania will join all of them for dinner this evening.

Accepting the 9th circuit’s ruling is an admission that it’s valid. Is it NOT valid so it should not be adhered to. Simple as that.

Sadly most people won’t watch it, and all they will watch is the evening news programs about whatever he says.

There are already almost 5,000 people waiting for the press conference to start on the White House youtube channel, and this is being streamed on many channels. I am sure many thousands will be watching live.

For every 1 watching there are 1,000 who wouldn't dare watch him and will instead go to Huffpo or some similar source to get their talking points.

The news conf could be to announce a national "save the puppies day" and by tonight the MSM will spin it into an Islamophobic attack of some sort.

True, but they are most likely already Democrat voters already.

True, but they are most likely already Democrat voters already.

99% of the anti-Trump agitation is from organized groups... Black Lives Matter, unions, and all sorts of leftist groups. Many Democrats only hear their side of things.

Did he say anything. There were no posts about the actual news conference after 1. Just unrelated comments.

As per Marbury v. Madison, one does not “chose to accept” a courts decision.

Why fight it now, with a 20% chance of success, and give all your critics more ammunition to attack you, when you can wait a month or two, get Gorsuch confirmed, and win 100%, on a multitude of issues.

There are so many more important issues coming.

Children need instant rewards and satisfaction. Adults wait until they are sure they will get it.

It’s all about tactics at this point.

OK, let’s see. You are making an equivalence argument for the beef black people have about slavery to the beef Americans (some of us) have against Tojo and the Japs for the unprovoked and murderous and cowardly attack on the US and the torture of US servicemen.

I might point out that white people gave their lives, and took other white mens lives (about 700,000 of them) to free the slaves.

But, OK, I get where you are coming from.

Actually I was using that logic to expose your flawed reasoning that the Japanese of today are responsible for what happened in WW2.

I personally don't believe white people of today have any responsibility for slavery or Jim Crow. It then follows that the Japanese of today should not be held responsible for what happened in WW2.

If we carry grudges about what happened in previous generations, then there is enough history out there for everybody to hate everybody else.
