Disheartening and demoralizing, wailed Judge Neil Gorsuch of President Trumps comments about the judges seeking to overturn his 90-day ban on travel to the U.S. from the Greater Middle East war zones.
What a wimp. Did our future justice break down crying like Sen. Chuck Schumer? Sorry, this is not Antonin Scalia. And just what horrible thing had our president said?
A so-called judge blocked the travel ban, said Trump. And the arguments in court, where 9th Circuit appellate judges were hearing the governments appeal, were disgraceful. A bad student in high school would have understood the arguments better.
Did the president disparage a couple of judges? Yep.

Trump’s m0ommy and daddy didn’t raise no stupid son...just wait, watch and learn.
unlike John Kerry who................... served in Vietnam
You’re welcome. Oh and one more from Katrina the Kommie urging collectivists in CONgre$$...
also....remember that revenge is a dish best served cold
Saying “If terrorism occurs, it’s on THEM,” is no consolation and certainly no settlement.
Work-arounds are surrender.
Accepting the court’s decision is accepting the court’s supremacy over the Executive.
And this time the victim isn’t one Terri Schiavo.
This has to be confronted head on.
The overreach, the usurpation by the Judiciary cannot be allowed to stand, must not be respected or even “ignored.”
It must be defeated utterly.
Oh yuck; I see that vanden HOVEL ( misspelled on purpose ) is still waving the blood red flag. I don’t know why, but I happily thought that she was dead. Too bad I wasn’y correct in that assumption.
Congress needs to find its gonads. BO put them in a lock box.
the libs are going try to use jiudcial power to block EVERYTHING Turmp does from here on out.
That cannot happen.
one crummy little judge should not be able to wipe out the power of a president. that is not a check and balance, that is judicial supremacy.
He’s taken a sledgehammer to Political Correctness.
He’s taken a sledgehammer to the corrupt media.
He’s taken a sledgehammer to the establishment.
He now has to take a sledgehammer to the out of control, totally politicized courts if the country is to be saved.
People say that if he defies the courts he’ll cause a constitutional crisis. HELL, WE ALREADY HAVE A CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS WITH THE COURTS AS IS. By challenging them we’ll stop the pretense of the “independent judiciary”. It’ll bring the problem to the front burner and force the country to deal with it.
Challenging the courts and fixing this rotten system where a handful of unelected people can overturn decision by elected officials and even elections themselves would be Trump’s greatest achievement.
He should do it and challenge the Rats to stop him.
That is exactly how Obama operated. He did as he pleased and then told the republicans “Go ahead, stop me”.
Summary - Judicial overreach & review are just a feint, a tactical play being put into action to encourage Trump to either act hastily and/or over commit without proper appreciation of the forces who are arrayed against him and the American people).
As we all know, the courts have absolutely no power in which to enforce their un-Constitutional edict ... except via an impeachment threat from Congress. So, rather than continue to state the rather obvious ie the judiciary doesn't have standing, etc, we should ignore that particular issue for now and focus on who is really the controlling authority.
(As an aside, we should duly note that the current injunction is merely a 'defensive' move that *prevents* the execution of a positive EO. Realistically, it should only be a matter of days/weeks before the other shoe drops: another fed district court will rule on an affirmative action. That is, Trump will be *compelled* to positively perform in a directed manner similar to Xian bakers being forced to service customers not of their choosing.)
OK, so once we've identified who the real power is behind the pipsqueaks in robes, we might wish to take a collective breath of surprise at the unveiling of the horrible truth. Much like confronting a criminal ring while wondering exactly who has been providing unerring protection, discovering that the corruption rises to the very upper echelons of power should make sensible people pause to consider what we're actually facing and how serious this problem really is.
At this point, I don't believe Trump actually has to be in contempt of any court interpretation. Realistically, any tenuous charge can be trumped up in order to initiate impeachment action against him. So one must question whether or not he has sufficient time over the next 1-1.5 years on the campaign trail in which to attempt to alter electoral dynamics in the House.
Since Congress knows Trump has limited time before they lower the boom, the question is: (a) does he recognize & realize the true nature of (t)his peril; and (b) how does he respond? With respect to (b), what are his various alternatives that (temporarily?) place him in an advantageous position? Well, the most obvious is a national security emergency.
That's my conclusion - a national security emergency (real or false) gives Trump the necessary momentum & initiative to quickly employ domestic/foreign security forces to address both the primary attackers and internal, shadow powers. His 3 biggest weapons by far are charges of espionage, treason & sedition that would immediately alter the dynamics of the opposition.
The globalist uni-party, through its agents in Congress, the judiciary, media, et al have openly declared their intentions; it's now right out in the open. In many respects it's sort of sad to have to reach these conclusions as to our true state of affairs. On the other hand, we didn't ask for the fight - there's been a lot of denial as to what has actually been occurring, but the first step is recognizing what is really happening. For instance, the recent outrage over the court's usurpation is evidence that a sizable number are still incorrectly framing the threat.
The opposition has to understand the serious nature of the cascade of events they've begun. I believe they fully know what they've started and are waiting for Trump's response. If it's a ridiculous stream of twitter complaints, then we are either (a) screwed; or (b) ready to rock n' roll if they are a feint in themselves to mask the coming decapitation strike.
That would not be Rush, that would be me catching only parts of the show.. Not rushes fault.
as to the not denying it. that is a problem.
Well stated post. In essence, we are playing for all the marbles.
Trump needs to let it be known loud and clear that if this ruling gets an American citizen injured or killed he will ask congress to impeach the judges and hold them responsible.
He also needs to break the silence on the tyranny of the judiciary and start talking about impeachment and remind Congress they have a duty to protect American citizens and to assure there is a separation of power and the judiciary HAS clearly usurped the legislative branches power and cite several decisions, gay marriage, Roe, etc... and then declare now they are determined to usurp power from the executive branch and this will be stopped either with your help or without and if I have to do it without your help I will be asking the American people to contact you and let you know how much they appreciate your lack of concern for their safety and hold you accountable in the coming elections.
Trump also needs to reign in the budget for these federal judges and make their lives a living hell. If necessary put their offices in the public restrooms. Playing defense with these old tyrants in black robes won’t work, attack!
I think that the exercise of the appointment check is Trumps but the exercise of the scope or purview check is held by Congress. If the Republican Congress wants to let courts function like this they should do nothing. If they don’t the options are clear.
I would expect Secretary of State Tillerson to fire them immediately, and recommend prosecution for anything they can be discovered to have done which violates the law.
