Sen Flake from AZ was on Fox this week and said he has introduced a bill to split the 9th and create a 12th circuit court. He said the 9th is too big - takes 15 months for hearings, 20% of population of the US and 40% of the land area of the US.

Yeah, I saw the Flake/McCain bill news. I’ve been pushing for this and jurisdictional changes to the law for years now. Glad to see that some others are finally taking it seriously. This decision is so bad, it could give the move impetus.
