Someone mentioned it here earlier...apply the extreme vetting at the origin instead of the destination. Order the US consulates in the 7 countries to issue visas only one day per week and slow walk it so that only a few visas a day are issued.
I didn’t mean long run. You should know me better than that. But anyone who thinks we’ll get a good immediate judicial outcome is dreaming. It will go to a 4-4 USSC and be remanded, or idiot Kennedy will vote against us.
Better to wait on the appeal until Gorsuch is seated.
That said, Trump has been way, way too canny in all of his moves to not have foreseen this. He has always been 2 steps ahead, and I’m betting they knew the 9th would do this, they know what the USSC will rule, so the real question is, what’s up their sleeves?

Correct. That is the logical conclusion to draw, as these judges are using terms such as bringing “due process” here. Also, Trump’s retaliation to the missiles might create some imagined “harm” to the states of Washington and Minnesota, so he couldn’t respond.
The courts have basically codified a “right to emigrate” to this country no matter what.

Unless the next hand is played correctly, should Trump have the appearance of being a dictator the left has much needed ammo to riot, protest, and attack the Republic.

Only way to save this, is to have him block all immigration effectively immediately, and repeat his written authority over, and over, and over... and threaten anyone that stands in the way with imprisonment. And that’s going to need to happen TOMORROW...
Not only did that judge have no legal right to issue the proclamation he did, but no court has jurisdiction over an EO declared by a sitting President.
