My guess is that he does have many women his own age throwing themselves at him. They have hit the wall and their biological clocks are ticking loudly. All the more reason for your nephew to be wary of this demographic and have very high standards. Because he runs the risk that the woman simply “settled” for him. And then he will come home one day to find that ‘she is not in love with him anymore” or some variation of that.
Your nephew probably means he can’t find anybody he wants.
FYI there is a whole world of women available on the internet. If you are willing to be patient with the cultural differences and willing to do the hard work of screening out scammers who just want a green card, your nephew will find an absurdly large number of women who are: 1) prettier than he can get here 2) younger than he can here and 3) more traditionally minded than he can find here.
He probably won’t find an educated professional woman, but if that isn’t his concern, no harm in looking.
