I feel sorry for them. They will miss that special intimacy that only married couples can enjoy.

Oh, I once had that.

21 years later, she left.

Now I have that special sense of losing everything and trying to start over. She even has half of my military retirement. For life.

So I’m fortunate I had my good times, but now the bad times are VERY deep and here to stay, so it seems.

I can honestly say, knowing it both ways, if I had to do it all over, I wouldn’t.

I know some of you might think, there’s probably something wrong with that fella, he’s just not saying, but...

You’d be wrong. I thought things were solid, both my AND her family says she just wigged out, and the lives of the kids were ruined forever.

But I do understand that life isn’t fair.
