I think it is entirely possible for Gorsuch to have said something along the line that the situation over the executive order is demoralizing/disheartening.
That comment would actually not point a finger at Trump at all.
Also, for him to verbalize any support for Trump’s position would disqualify him to hear the case if he is confirmed before it might be heard.
That’s why I suspect he said that the situation is disheartening....that would include the federal judge, the 9th circuit, the media, the administration, etc. It would include everyone with any role.
Blumenthal, a known liar, has probably lied about this exchange through mischaracterization.
Hopefully that is the case.
I’m still a bit concerned about the Church that Gorsuch is accused of attending. IMHO that is a Satanic Church that has subverted the gospel and is teaching doctrines of demons. I can’t see how anyone who is a true follower of Christ would be caught dead in that Church.

I believe your interpretation is probably correct - lots of folks seem to be poised to find any reason they can to “worry” about Trump and/or his nominees.
