This has been the tactic in France and now they are like the proverbial frog.
If war is an extention of politics, we definitely are in a pre-war. The more we realize it, the less bloody the actual war will be.
The war is ongoing. It started on the other side, some years ago... The fact that our side isn’t really fighting back has no bearing. LaVoy Finicum, BLM, “Not my President”, occupy anything, Ferguson No., Ruby ridge and Waco...
That we’re not going street to street yet, doesn’t mean that the war isn’t real, or that our enemies don’t mean to defeat us by one means or another. Too many on our side choose to live in denial, or to wait for a leader, or a Pearl harbor moment before they’ll engage the enemy.
I don’t know if it’s normalcy bias, or cowardice; but the result is the same. We’re taking casualties and denying that the war has started.
