A single mother in Buffalo claims she was arrested and her children were unjustly taken from her custody just because she tried to homeschool them.
Kiarre Harris decided to homeschool her children because she felt the Buffalo public school system was failing them. On Dec. 7, she filed documents at Buffalo City Hall informing the district of her intent to homeschool her children....
A week after filing the documents, Child Protective Services called asking why her children were not in school. She explained the situation and told them she could provide the paperwork proving she was homeschooling them.
No indication was given that she had to do more paperwork, but less than a month later, Harris was confronted by CPS workers and police who demanded that she turn over her children. Harris refused to do so, and was arrested for obstruction.
Police found her children and put them in a foster home. She ... hasn't seen them in three weeks.

Reminds me of the movie Brazil, except it’s not funny.
Same topic, different articles.
Do you run around the site and tell Freepers not to post any more articles about the “travel ban” because someone already posted one?
;-)
CPS are unaccountable and they conduct their proceedings in secret. Parents are frequently ordered to be silent under threat of losing their children and the parents often face retaliation if they hire an attorney.
This poor woman is now facing YEARS of hearings before she may ever see her children again. If she does get her kids back then the very day she gets them back she needs to get them in the car and FLEE to another state or else the monsters from CPS will come after her again and again.
I thank God we live in a state and in a county where law enforcement requires warrants and legitimate court orders (not just family court) to seize children. Not a lot of abuse happens in Wyoming or other Constitutional states. Can’t say the same about New York.

Some people paint. (-:
No. Different sources.
Is there a resource where I can get a list of those states?
Biggest mistake of home schoolers is even letting the state know your kids exist...as is the case when you try to remove them during a school year. If you wait until the school year is over, then say you’re enrolling them in some private school - or better yet, say you’re moving out, or even better, actually move over to the next town...they won’t bother with you.
But pulling kids out during the school year ANGERS the Government/Educational Axis and they will hit back hard.
There are Freepers here who believe with everything in them that some posters are more equal than others.
They delight in finding little ways to remind everyone who is who in their eyes.
Think of them as eternal high school girls.
I think there is more to the story - a gut feeling, anyway. Does she have an attorney, or someone who will go to the media on her behalf about the outrage? Maybe I am wrong, but thinking something is not being shared from just the one side of the story.
The beast demands that only their Babylonian thoughts be put into your children’s mind.
According to a comment, Ms. Harris said the white man is the devil and the black man is god - sounds like she is a Five Percenter and espousing a hate-filled racist ideology.
So does the state decide? As when a couple lost their children for naming one Adolf Hitler and coming to the attention of authorities when they tried to get a store to make the child a birthday cake with his name on it?
Or is there something more going on that Ms Harris is not revealing?
And sadly, most of them are little boys.
This is one government union group supporting another.
Fortunately I don’t have children exposed to this nightmare. All I will say is there would be job openings at that place.
just be happy you were not accused of blogging. Off with your head, dude.
This one is a good start:
