These “senior statesmen” are just tools in the hands of whoever is manipulating them. It is sad that their handlers could not care less about what is left of their reputations. Instead of recalling their past accomplishments, they will be remembered for their most recent tomfoolery.

A group of Republican senior statesmen is pushing for a carbon tax to combat the effects of climate change, and hoping to sell their plan to the White House. This White House?

Might not be that bad. For instance, it might document the carbon footprint that is necessary to manufacture all those wind-towers, which are not cost effective, as well as those solar panels that need toxic material in that manufacturing process.

FTA: “Carbon taxes are designed to raise the cost of fossil fuels to bring down consumption.”
They should change the (R) to a (D).
Raising taxes to restrain the growth of the economy?
They are insane and should be kicked of the republican party.

there is mounting evidence of problems with the atmosphere that are growing too compelling to ignore.
There is growing evidence that NOAH LIED in order to advance a FALSE climate agenda!

Agree -— the RINO establishment is nearly the equal to the ‘RAT establishment in their desire to cripple America & Western Civilization.

Baker and Shultz had their 15 minutes.
They rode in on coattails and would have people believe they are now great wizards of science ready to slap a tax on humanity’s propensity to fart into the mesosphere.
Give me Bannon, give me Miller. give me Conway, Kushner, and yes, even Priebus, and let the geriatric demented old guard waller off into limbo land.

“The Judas Lobby”?
To: Olog-hai
No.
No carbon tax. No extra costs for energy or productivity. No fussing over “climate change” until we can prove that (1) the alleged climate change will do more harm than good, (2) the alleged climate change is real, (3) the proposed fussing will change the outcome of whatever climate trajectory is alleged, and (4) that portion of climate change avoided by wrecking our economy is a bigger problem than the economic costs sustained to avoid such changes in climate.
