I have no idea why Trump is supporting this
I strongly oppose this move.
The very last thing we need to be doing is sending more arms into the middle east. Eventually our military personnel will be fighting against that same equipment and technology in some middle east hellhole.
IMHO Trump is trying to checkmate the expansionist moves of Iran. Right now the battle ground is Yemen and of course Iraq and Syria.
