As we all know, it’s for the same reason big banks and wall street are quite happy to be attacked in public by obama, hillary, and the rest of the Dems: because they’ve paid enough protection money in private that maintains the status quo.
That charade apparently works quite well as we never saw the obammunists or their allies do a damn thing to put some of those criminals in jail. In fact, we’ve seen the very opposite from the Dems (and the Pubs too for that matter): massive multi-billion bailouts with taxpayer money in which the taxpayers obtain no quid pro quo.
Any NECESSARY future Fed bailouts should involve a Fed takeover of the miscreant private entity with the Feds selling off the pieces and keeping the proceeds to partially pay for the bailout. That prevents the ruined entity from living another day to commit financial suicide again, and as a warning to the others. This would be pretty much like President Trump’s call to take the oil should we ever have to fight any wars to save it.
