Apparently, national security takes a back seat to the national economy.

Leaving the US vulnerable to error attacks is good for the economy? Who knew?

Promising researchers, engineers, academics and other professionals will stay away from the U.S. if the know they're not welcome ... blah, blah, blah ... Just how many "promising ..." anythings will be coming from nations where the average national IQs range from 67 to 84?

This is unadulterated hysterical poppycock. A three-month ban on a handful of backward countries is not going to affect the economy. These people have lost their minds.

I’m rather confident that the US economy will do just fine and will not even notice, the lack of new mooselimbs into the US. Except of course, government handouts will not go higher due to them, and less of an increase in law enforcement and court costs. So, actually, I would clearly say the US economy is better off without these new invaders, and better still if we ejected the ones who are here.
To: fivecatsandadog
Most of The Islamic invaders add almost nothing to the American economy. Rather they cost us all
In huge welfare and housing and education expenses paid for by taxpayers money. Plus super- sized security and policing extra expenses to deal with their riots and terrorist attacks on American Christians , Jews, nursing homes, shopping malls, pizza parlor, kindergartens, and military bases. Send them home. Send them home. Send them home. While we still can.

Question: how many competent Arab engineers have I met in my career?
Answer: ZERO!
To: FatherofFive
Not only is President Trump’s moratorium not a ban on Muislims, it is not a ban on anyone else. It is a short-term stopgap measure intended to be replaced with more effective vetting procedures.

At least being randomly detained and interrogated at airports isn't a big problem for promising American researchers, engineers, academics and other professionals. Except that being regularly detained and interrogated is something that they deal with every time they travel. And that hasn't slammed the US economy at all for over 15 years.

author is very anti-American in thinking the USofA needs more and more immigrants instead of raising up its own people and educating and training it’s own people.
He needs thicker glasses to even see his own need for thicker glasses.
