Yes. He is still a Senator until he is confirmed as Attorney General.

That vote allowing the two Pub women to vote NO, was pre-planned by the Pubs before the vote was ever taken. They do this all the time, knowing exactly how many YES votes they are going to get, and that Pence would cast the tie-breaking vote.

The Pubs “allowed” the two NO votes because of the liberal propensities of the states the women come from, and the alliances with their teacher constituents who could otherwise make life miserable for them at re-election time if they voted YES. So this was an agreed upon vote by the Pubs.

Both sides (Dems/Pubs) do head counts and then figure out how many of their members in shaky political states or districts with large constituencies backing specific issues, can vote in the negative, just as long as it won’t affect the outcome of the actual vote. That’s politics.

The vote won’t be needed to confirm him, but I was just curious.

And that wouldn’t be possible if the Dems hadn’t excersized the “nuclear option” for their political purposes. Actions sometimes have inintended consequences. And the pendulum will swing back in time. if the Dems aren’t smart enough to learn from their mistakes then they deserve to wander in the wilderness forever.

In a way, I’m THANKFUL to the Republican gals for what they did. First, they (or at least one of them) voted in committee to bring her to a floor vote, upending the first shot the Dems had at her.

Then, by stating early-on that they would vote against her, all of the Democrat hate-machinery was focused on her...all the while with Sessions sitting in the background, about to sail in to Justice.

And Sessions is the BIG PRIZE for Trump - he is the one that bring control to immigration, finally investigate the huge voting fraud, investigate the arrogant tweebs that worked under Obama, and God knows what else.

...and there’s no time, nor no energy, for Sessions, as they are TOTALLY BURNED OUT, and all thanks to our gals.

Winning and history. Two of my favorite subjects. I love this.

Winning, can’t derail the Trump Train, get on board or get run over.

Better than #44's train

To the two traitorous Republicans who voted against her. Treason. Prison.

And some of them work as Human Resources executives with blacklists full of “alleged” Republicans? A job candidate has to watch his back, what with all of the women who vote (D) working in HR these days.

Excellent point, and so far they're doing a bang-up job of pulling out of the wilderness, with their tolerance for violence and kooky conspiracy theories. And I'm sure the new DNC head will really reel back in those working class whites (/s)

No it was because two whore-senators sold their votes to the NEA. Murkowski has a 100% rating from them, the other 75%.

Vocabulary is the first thing to go when you embrace the liberal agenda. It’s F* this & F* that with no other adjectives, adverbs or verbs emerging from your mouth.

Slowly your brain turns to mush until in the terminal stages you think Guam is going to tip over and Korea=Crimea. About the same time you believe fervently that Obama is America’s savior and Trump is Hitler’s reincarnation.

Finally you put on a pink hat & parade around as genitals. This is the tacit admission that genitals are all you have left; your mind is gone.

Elites are fairly dumb; they think socialism will actually work this time with them in charge, IMO.

Actually, I feel that the silver lining is that the NEA (teachers union) is now on notice that they will have virtually no standing in the halls of the Dept of Education.

It is time that they learned that always siding with Democrats has a cost. When the WEA decides it is time to start supporting Republicans in addition to just focusing on money and union membership, but to think about the children, then maybe that can be invited back for a meeting or two.

Is that to say, they are voting on Sessions today?

No. They'll confirm him tomorrow sometime.
