Last November, a nonprofit called Transparent California reported that a BART janitor named Liang Zhao Zhang made $271,000 in a single year over $162,000 of that in the form of overtime. Now, a KTVU investigation into Zhang's hours and pay revealed that he disappears into a storage closet at the Powell St. station, sometimes for hours a day. In order to observe how Zhang spent his sometimes 17-hour work day, KTVU requested surveillance video from BART. On it, they saw Zhang entering a storage closet twice in one day, once for 54 minutes and again for 90 minutes later in the day. On another day, they observed Zhang in the closet for 90 minutes in the afternoon and another 78 minutes in the evening.

How dumb are these people. His pay should have been questioned after 2 pay periods.
Looks like the State of California has too much money.
Zip it, folks! This guy is an undercover agent and the closet leads to his secret HQ. You’re endangering his life with your reporting.

“Sacramento audit: Two firefighters worked almost 70 percent of the time they are living”
Firefighters are the absolute worst at this theft of government funds. Here in Contra Costa County, only the doctors at the county hospital ( none of whose names you can pronounce) make more money than the union firefighters. And as they say around the firehouse: “We eat till we’re sleepy, then sleep till we’re hungry!” And worst of all, they can retire will full pensions, including healthcare for themselves and their families at age 50! The two cities that have gone through bankruptcy here in California ( Vallejo and Stockton) had their cops and FFs comprising about 80% of their city budgets. The end is not far off.
my first thought was get smart in his phone booth, but no phone booths these days so sub a closet
S%#$%^T.....HAHAHA!!!!
