Sometimes it is important to make a statement. The House could do that about this judge usurping both the power of the president and that of congress.

Is this judge a lifetime appointment like the SC? Not sure what is at stake here —His is appointed, not elected to his position —is the appointment for a certain number of years? Thanks much to anyone who knows the answer.

Yeah, the idiot judge based his ruling, in part, on the notion that the states who are party to the lawsuit would “likely suffer irreparable harm”. Well, so what? Since when is a US President’s foreign policy to be held hostage by how individual states see a foreign policy issue, and since when do federal courts get to usurp and control the foreign policy of the US?

Also, with respect to foreign policy decisions, it seems to me that any given state could claim that any particular foreign policy decision, on immigration or otherwise, would or could cause them harm of one form or other. This would constitute a very nebulous and arbitrary argument. If this notion is allowed to stand, the President would be rendered completely powerless to defend the nation. This ruling MUST be reversed, post haste.

That could constitute judicial misbehavior, which would be a cause of action for House Judiciary Committee to bring an impeachment against this judge. That wold be a good idea.

Impeachment of this guy, should probably be a priority, but probably after the SC shoots him down..unfortunately though, leftist SC judges will do what they have done my entire life and just ignore the law if its a political outcome they want

Yes, I emailed the judge earlier this evening:

Dear legal huckster,

Your recent decision regarding President Trump’s temporary ban on individuals from known terrorist hotspots is as perplexing as it is unlawful. Whether one agrees with president Trump’s order or not, your decision is clearly not rendered in furtherance of the law and its plain language. If you disagree on that point, please explain yourself, since you did not see fit to do so in your nationwide order to stay powers granted by law to the president.

You sir are a judicial activist and a sham of a legal huckster. You should be impeached and disbarred!

Lucky for you though, most politicians are as intellectually lazy as yourself, so you honor each other with your continued positions of so called honor.

Respectfully,

An Ohioan who sees you for what you are, a disgusting fraud.
