I agree that the judge is horrible and needs to go. I have doubts that the Senate will have 67 votes to remove.
How about another option?
Just eliminate that judicial district and eliminate the funding for this judge using the House’s power of the purse. Simply lay the judge off.
Congress needs to pass legislation eliminating the 9th Circuit, absorbing those states into other circuits. They should also eliminate all districts populated by activist judges.
There is precedent for this and it has withstood SCOTUS review. See the Judiciary Act of 1802.

Since that is a budgetary action, my view is this can pass via reconciliation, which only needs majority votes in House and Senate.
I even have a name for it - The Judiciary Operational Yoke or JOY Act of 2017.
I still feel confident that Trump will prevail here, even though this is a pain in the butt.

If people would stop calling him Judge, he wouldn’t be so called.
Recently, there has been conversation that the 9th circuit is too big and needs to be split in two. They handle too many cases, they lean to the Left and that’s where all the Lib’s do their judge shopping.
If it were to be split up, then they’d lose half their case load...good thing.
Apparently there are some vacancies, either actual or coming up soon, that Trump can fill. If that happens, then the court can at the very least be shifted to the center, if not to the Right....Good thing
