John Bachelor has a podcast on his website that is an interview with a German scientist on the effect that Antarctic ice has on global temperatures. Bottom line is that this effect is not integrated into the climate models used for global warming predictions, AND they have proved that the Earth's temperatures have fluctuated significantly, in cycles, for thousands of years.
