"This country was built on inclusion and diversity, on celebration of those differences, supporting those differences, and everybody being the very best they can be in their own way. I’m opposed to anything that takes away from that."

In what way is this truthful?

Not much. The colonists came over in groups, forming their OWN colonies, separated, and distinct from others. The states formed a unified Federal Government, with the states retaining the rights not enumerated in the US Constitution.

Our country was built on the idea of a melting pot. People came from many different countries and were admitted to the U.S.A. To become Americans and contribute their skills for the benefit of our country. Of course traditions and languages from their native lands were important how ever the new arrivals learned the English language and American history.
One of the reasons the candidacy of Hillary Clinton failed was because she saw America as a Balkanized nation. She targeted groups; Hispanics, Jews, Muslims, Blacks, Big labor, big business, Open Borders Advocates, Media Companies who benefited from abuse of H1B Visas that discriminated against Americans in favor of cheaper foreign labor.
Arthur Blank is a Huge supporter of the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton and obviously shares those values.
