Toward the end of that rant, Ashley Judd made a comment along the lines of, "Women actors get paid XX% of what make actors earn."
There is some delicious irony there about getting paid less than other people "earn". Not sure if Ashley had her irony radar on when she made that statement. Or maybe she doesn't like any word that starts with iron, so she just ignored the symbolism.
Ashley Judd will not have to worry about what a actress gets paid compared to an actor. First of all most theater goers are women so they want to see male leads. Second of all, Ashley you will never get a Hollywood gig again. That speech was the explanation point on an average career. Done. Finished. Over. Has been who never was.
