And no pension. Or, they get full pension, but have to turn over all assets, including assets held by their spouse, and collect ONLY on their government pension, which can only be collected while living in government housing the equal of Section 8 housing.

And they are subject to every law they vote in favor of. Retroactively, for such doozies as Obamacare.

I would say a 401k for the time in office and I like the idea of a “Congressional Housing Block (or Barracks) “ it might promote some collegiality. Definitely they and Congress as an organization subject to the laws they pass.
