Coke works best for me, too. Defizzed Ginger Ale works well, too. When I worked in a hospital some years ago, we brought in Gatorade and there’s something like that for small children, just don’t recall the name right now - it helps with dehydration as well as restoring some electrolytes.

You might be thinking about Pedialyte.

It is sold at most Pharmacies/big box stores. It tastes like salty Kool-Aid, but is great for kids (and adults) on the verge of dehydration.

Probably you mean Pedialyte. We used to keep it around, but it’s been a while since anyone got sick, since we started homeschooling and are away from the school germs. Then we made the mistake of going to a public water park, which is where the trouble began! Thank you for all the tips!
