What the media tends to ignore:
* he did this in Irving, a short distance from where terrorists tried to shoot up Pamela Gellar’s “Everybody draw mohammed contest” only a few months after that event - everyone was still primed and terrified to terrorism
* he brought something that looked like a bomb to school, which for anyone other than a Muslim would get you suspended under zero tolerance rules where white kids have been punished for gun shaped pop tarts and lockdowns for massive foil wrapped burritos
* he not only brought something to school like a bomb but became increasingly non-responsive to questions about it as he took it from class to class - intentionally trying to provoke a reaction
* his father is an attorney for a group like CAIR and extreme fundamentalist, sitting in a mock trial to condemn to jail if not death a Christian pastor from Florida for destroying a Koran. The family is not moderate in the least.
* the boy’s sister did something similar
