“Senator Strange” just has an awesome ring to it.
Hooper hasn’t been seen in Ala politics for roughly 13 years...but that might be a positive because some of the others have some criticism that they’ve earned.
In the case of Luther Strange, as AG for Alabama, he’s delayed the impeachment of Gov Bentley to a fair degree. Most folks (at least within the state) think that Bentley owes him something because of the delays, and the nod toward Senator would be the pay-off.
Adding to this...2018 is the next governor’s race, and Del Marsh is figured to be the winner, unless of course Strange isn’t picked...and Del gets the nod as Senator.
“Del Marsh is figured to be the winner, unless of course Strange isnt picked”
Oh...you mean...
Unless something Strange happens....?
Could some AL FReeper give the rest of us a brief background on these candidates?
Aderholt is my Congressman. He is the invisible man. He is a lightweight nothing.
