Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch easily won the support of top Democratic senators for a lifetime appointment to the bench ... in 2006.
What a difference a decade makes.
Several of the same senators who helped unanimously confirm Gorsuch to the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in July 2006 are now railing against his nomination by President Trump to the highest court in the land.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said Wednesday he has "serious doubts" about Gorsuch. Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., issued a scathing statement citing Gorsuch's stance on assisted suicide, and saying nobody who believes individual rights are "reserved to the people" can support his nomination.

Of course the anti-Trump party are all beside themselves on issues they once supported.
OMG. From what I heard this judge is guilty of crimes against humanity.
He’s in favor of dirty air and dirty water. Its not just that he opposes liberal environmental positions, I heard he’s actually in favor of a despoiled environment.
I also heard he opposes food safety. He wants us all to eat rotten food and get sick.
He even opposes help for autistic children.
I can’t wait for Chuck Schumer and his boys to tell us what other crimes against humanity he is guilty of.........

Wyden - representing a party that represents the greatest trampler of individual rights West of ISIS - needs to avoid lightning storms for a while after managing to spit out that one. :)
The Reagan White House thought they had Bork’s confirmation in the bag because Democrats had supported him for the Court of Appeals. Trump better have more ammo than this (I suspect he does, but...)
