To: Cowboy Bob

It amazes me too, to think that the family can’t sit down and figure out, how do we get to a situation where their daughter can play basketball.

They got the news that the school doesn’t have girls basketball. Their daughter really really totally wants to play. Their response to this is not to look for a situation in which she can be on a team elsewhere, but instead, their response is to file a lawsuit against their school.

I don’t understand such a mindset.

Good point. Why would one want to start the hassle and $$ of suits when they might much more easily sign her up for the local Y league?
