Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and other city leaders appeared at the Islamic Center of Southern California in Koreatown Wednesday to denounce President Donald Trump’s travel ban on seven Muslim-majority nations and offer their support for travelers affected by it.
“We must always protect our country and our people from harm, and should take every necessary measure to secure the homeland,” Garcetti said. “But banning people based on religion or country of origin is not only un- American, it is dangerously counter to our national security. There are effective, rational, humane and constitutional strategies to keep Americans safe — and that is what we expect the president to offer the American people.”
Trump’s executive order, which he signed Friday, suspends all refugee entries for 120 days, indefinitely blocks all Syrian refugees and bars entry for 90 days to all immigrants from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

I can’t see how we can continue like this.
The majority of Americans know right from wrong, and they know perfectly well, despite the protestations of the Establishment and Media (but I repeat myself), that there's absolutely nothing improper with the President Trump's policy as written and as implemented.
The fact is, President 0bama id the one who identified these 7 countries as sources and promoters of terrorism. It's also undeniable that the vetting procedures for travelers who originate from these countries are woefully inadequate, due in large part to substandard information and practices. These countries do not meet even the minimum vetting standards necessary to protect the security of America and its People.
Therefore, a pause has been instituted while the Federal Government reviews the current, deficient vetting process, in order to put in place procedures and standards which are sufficiently robust.
Once the President, who is responsible for the safety of this nation and its people, is satisfied that the vetting procedures are sufficient, only then will the policy be suspended, and only if such suspension is fully compatible with the ongoing security needs of the United States.
Under well-established US legal precedent and law, President Trump (or any President) has plenary power to deny foreigners' entry into the United States based on any criteria he chooses.
Those are the facts, inconvenient as they are to those ruled by hysteria, and there is absolutely no question regarding Constitutionality, despite the unhinged ravings of the delusional Left...

I just got through reading Nick Canepa’s column in the San Diego Union-Tribune which said the city fathers are trying to get the hated Oakland Raiders to move their Team to San Diego now that their deal to move to Las Vegas has fallen through...LOL.

What travel ban? I haven’t heard of any travel ban. People who have been vetted properly or have a green card from the 7 countries listed can still travel regardless of their religion.
There is no travel ban. It’s called doing due diligence and it’s not even a permanent policy... yet.
I guess that mayor would prefer a bunch of radicalized jihadist come on into his town and start blowing people up. What a great mayor. NOT.
Garcetti is just upset that’s its messing up the left’s invasion plan to kill white Christians folks en masse using ISIS soldiers sneaking across the border as fake refugees. Of course he’ll never admit it. The leftists never will.
