Trump Files With FEC For 2020 Election Bid, Outmaneuvers Nonprofit Organizations

A document from the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) indicates that Donald Trump took steps last week to outmaneuver nonprofit organizations, leaving them unable to officially campaign against him over the next few years of his Presidency.

Filed on January 20th, 2017, the letter states that, while not an official announcement for reelection, Donald Trump has filed an FEC Form 2 in order to “ensure compliance with the Federal Election Campaign Act.” This is an unprecedented, although legal, move for the President to make. Barack Obama did not file for his 2012 re-election bid until April 2011. Having filed (even if not formally announcing a bid) as a candidate, Trump would be able to coordinate with PACs and other similar organizations.

More importantly, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations would no longer be able to engage in “political speech” which could theoretically affect the results of the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election without running the risk of losing their nonprofit status. The move effectively bars interest groups from creating nonprofits which they could funnel money into for the purposes of opposing Trump’s initiatives. This will likely create chaos for political opponents of Trump such as George Soros, who has sunk significant amounts of money into various nonprofit groups with the intent of opposing Trump’s government. How 501(c)(3) organizations will comply with the FEC’s regulations when participating an actions which qualify as political speech remains to be seen.

The man is simply a genius ... carrying a switch blade. He’s out maneuvered the entire world. He hasn’t even started yet but done more good than most any administration it would take years, in less than 2 weeks. Rules and wills will surrender. There are no rules to follow when saving the world. But please, rancid progressive petrie dish slime, continue to do what you’re doing. Consider ratcheting it up a bit. Continue being the ugly psychotic hypocritical anachronisms transparent court jesters. The world is watching. You’re the best recruiting tool we could hope for, for anything but you.

President George Washington knew that while he was good, he was not a universal genius. But he had the amazing talent to *surround* himself with geniuses.

President Donald Trump seems to have the same talent.

So far, he, with the help of Republicans in the House, have done three just awe-inspiring things that are political master level stuff.

This one is the third.

The first one was the resurrection of the Holman rule:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/virginia-politics/house-republicans-revive-obscure-rule-that-could-allow-them-to-slash-the-pay-of-individual-federal-workers-to-1/2017/01/04/4e80c990-d2b2-11e6-945a-76f69a399dd5_story.html

(link shortened for sanity)

https://is.gd/eoGMpN

The second was a double whammy, courtesy of Bob Goodlatte (R-VA). The first bill, H.R. 26, the Regulations From the Executive In Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act, will give Congress a final say on regulations with an estimated cost over $100 million through a mandatory up-or-down vote before they go into effect.

And the other one, which should be called the “enabling act” for the downsizing of government. H.R. 5, the Regulatory Accountability Act.

http://www.hoover.org/research/revolution-administrative-law

Its most important provision is the Separation of Powers Restoration Act (SOPRA). Its key provision reads that any court reviewing administrative action shall “decide de novo all relevant questions of law, including the interpretation of constitutional and statutory provisions, and rules made by agencies.”

Under “de novo” review, the appellate court acts if it were considering the question for the first time, affording no deference to the decisions below.

Legal decisions of a lower court on questions of law are reviewed using this standard. This is sometimes also called plenary review or the “legal error” standard. It allows the appeals court to substitute its own judgment about whether the lower court correctly applied the law.

A new trial in which all issues are reviewed as if for the first time is called a trial de novo.

While it doesn’t sound like much on the surface, it legal terms it is huge. It is also exceedingly detrimental to the regulations of out of control bureaucrats who worked hand in glove with leftist NGOs.

I have read elsewhere that he has copyright for his 2020 campaign slogan. “Keep America Great” (IIRC).

4D chess and whomever said he surrounds himself with top talent is right on.

Truly, he is Trump-sensei.
