I couldn't agree more. Even more essential is that the left needs to finally be exposed as the anti-American, anti-constitutional insurgency that they are. "Liberalism/progressivism", or whatever other euphemism they dream up tomorrow to describe it, is not just another governing philosophy to draw from, equal in some way to conservatism - just another flavor to choose. That's the way the left and their media cohorts try to frame it.
On the contrary, it is an alien ideology that is antithetical to every one of America's founding principles, and is bent on undermining our republic and replacing it with a globalist/Marxist fantasy. So-called liberalism is the enemy of America, and should be treated as such.
Conservatism, on the other hand, is really just Americanism. It is the "conserving" of our founding principles and everything that makes America exceptional. There is no equivalency here, between conservatism and liberalism. Conservatives are true Americans who want to preserve and strengthen America, and liberals are outsiders who hate the real America and want to shred it and replace it with a foreign ideology. Simple as that.
From now on, we should ensure that we frame the difference between the two sides in those terms. Don't give in to their fantasy that Marxism is somehow American by treating it as if it has any legitimacy. Time to eliminate this insurgency once and for all.
