I keep having to explain that to people when they wring their hands about the President using Twitter.
“He can’t do that! It’s so small and petty! It’s just not presidential!”, are just some of the MSM talkingvpoints they parrot.
I have to remind them that MSM only distorts the message and lies to us and that our President is going around them, directly to the people and when he does that, the media can’t lie and distort the message and control the narrative and they hate that and that’s why they’re saying he shouldn’t do that.
Old habits die hard. I know a few older people who are used to trusting authority figures and the news people. They are from a time when lying on such a scale was not socially acceptable, so they have a hard time believing people actually do it-that’s my theory.

Exactly!!! He is a man of the people (yes, he’s wealthy, but he never was one of the Washington elite) and speaks directly to the people. Refreshing.
