Kass is the Tribune’s answer to the Sun Times’ Royko (may he RIP). He’s not there yet, but he tries. I used to read Mike Royko. He often said very sensible and reasonable things. He made sure everyone knew he was a Democrat, but he was a more sensible Democrat. One that could be reasoned with.
There were a bunch of other columnists I just ignored, but I would read Mike Royko.

Kass is the Tribune’s answer to the Sun Times’ Royko (may he RIP). He’s not there yet, but he tries.I remember reading Royko. He was in one of our Cleveland papers when I was younger. A very enjoyable read if I recall. Good guy.
