Donald Trump has nominated 10th Circuit Judge Neil Gorsuch to fill the late Antonin Scalias seat on the Supreme Court. Heres what you need to know: 1. His academic resume alone is very impressive: He completed his undergraduate studies at Columbia University in New York, got his J.D. from Harvard Law School, and then earned his doctorate from Oxford after studying under the titanic legal philosopher and natural lawyer John Finnis.

I heard some liberals say this seat was stolen from Obama and Democrats. And that Dems should vote no as payback for the GOP not voting on Obamas nominee to the court.
I have tried everywhere to find out what religion he is. Can’t find it anywhere. Also I’m not sure he is particularly pro-life in abortion. But he might be due to being against Euthanasia and fought for the Sisters of the Poor in the Obamacare mess and also was the Holly Lobby situation. His age is perfect. And many other areas are wonderful. I think he is a good pick.
Outstanding nominee. And we have a President who keeps his word!!!
Episcopalian.
O’Reilly on Fox News just said Gorsuch is Episcopalian.
They would vote no regardless of who was nominated. They are just wired that way.
Episcopalian.
Thank you both. I guess Episcopalian is pretty close to Catholic..... :-)
Thank you. You guys are the best!!!!!
Some one has written that he is Episcopalian.
Liberals can go eat dirt..such a bunch of babies can’t deal with the fact that they LOST
I appreciate it. This site is amazing and the people are even better.
Did Obama ever nominate someone to fill Scalia’s seat.
President Trump has worked hard on this selection. This is a person of class, but the dimocrats will try to skewer him in every way they can.
They’ll never be another Scalia, but from everything I know about this man, he’s as close as we’ll ever get.
Yep, Merrick Garland. But, the GOP refused to give him a vote... last year, Biden precedent, etc.
Yes he did. He nominated Merrick Garland to fill Scalia’s seat. But Mitch McConnell never scheduled hearings or a Vite on the nomination.
Yes, and it was dead on day one.
