WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Roughly 900 U.S. State Department officials signed an internal dissent memo critical of President Donald Trump's travel ban for refugees and immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries, a source familiar with the document said on Tuesday.
A senior State Department official confirmed that the memorandum in the department's "dissent channel" had been submitted to management.
White House spokesman Sean Spicer said on Monday he was aware of the memo but warned career diplomats that they should either "get with the program or they can go."

It should be like the regulations EO - for every one new, repeal two.
So, they should only be hiring 300 people to fill these positions!!
We can hope, right?!?
Well the next thing these civil servants ethically need to due is submit their resignations! If they want to refuse to follow orders from CINC and dontheir job then they need to be fired if they refuse to quit!
(Well, 'Merican...)
Wasn’t Foggy Bottom a swamp long ago anyway?
Yup, time for draining.
Buh-bye.
I think it was Secretary of State James Baker, under President Reagan, who said that now it would be role of the State Department to represent the US to the world, rather than represent the nations of the world to the US.
Drain the swamp. Man, I would love it if Trump replies “I accept your resignations”
buh-bye
say what?
a-buh-bye
The state dept is rife with Muslims. I guarantee it. They paid for a trip to Kuala Lumpur for 4 of us to instruct 25 Pakistani faculty on how to deal with infectious disease outbreaks. They paid for transportation to the venue in the Ritz Carlton for 4 days of class and fabulous dining in one of 9 restaurants at the Ritz. I raised unpopular objections to the cost and told them it would be my last trip. Believe it or not, I was there.
