Tweets are saying between 3 and 12 dead, I won't speculate a number. Perhaps this was an internal battle between them and a terrorist attack? Who knows. Prayers for that community at large...most of them are good people outside that mosque. There isn't a large Islamic population in that area.

This has to be fake news. I mean Canada has had their gun registry and gun bans for a very long time. Therefore the chances of this sort of thing happening are virtually nil. I found a MySpace page for Alexandre Bissonette... It appears genuine based on the dates I’ve seen (profile pic date Dec 2014). Not a lot to see there, only a couple of friends - I was able to find one of the friends, Jean-Philippe Cauchon, on Facebook. Photos of him wearing a kifaya along with at least one post mentioning the liberation of Palestine, and one picture, of all places, of Morocco.
