This article gives some of the build up to the siege of Kabani and the fact that the Kurds are actually rebuilding community structures. Not just buildings, but restoring the relationships of those victims of the ISIS control of Northern Syria. Specifically Rojava.

It also Explains that Turkey is not there to kill ISIS and Nesura (al Qaeda), but to occupy and keep Kurds from uniting the Northern Syria region. Erdogan intends to hold portions of Northern Syria and Iraq. He has no intention of leaving. Yes, they are a NATO member. Do they act like it? No.

Nice post. Very informative. Freepers need to understand that the Kurds are our friends and the Turks, at least under their current administration, are not.

I expect Mr. Erdogan will soon receive a less than friendly call from our new President who will lay out some new rules of engagement in Syria.
