You couldn't get Colin Kapernick to sing?
Well, the only reason we ever watch the Superbowl is for the halftime show. Which was pretty good last year, with Coldplay.
I think this year, we will do as some other FReepers above me have posted—we will watch the Puppybowl.
A not watching the NFL. Hamilton is another reason not to.
This is why ever conservative should be rooting all out for the Patriots. The ownership, coach and QB...probably many more are pro Trump. They also defy the racial imbalance being pushed by the NFL. The only team with a semblance of racial balance. This is why Goodell hates them.
In the fifties I watched football on a 19” black and white TV, it was a real challenge to make out what was going on during a snowstorm but I still watched.
NOW I wouldn’t watch the game on a 50” super dooper HDTV because of the politics.
Yes, these are the same dweebs who lectured Mike Pence from the stage, but go ahead, keep giving the NFL and AFL Neilsen points.
I will happily sit this one out.
Combined General and Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Fine by me. I’ll be binge-watching Plane Resurrection on Netflix anyway.
Just wait until Trump pulls the plug on the Military paying the NFL for half time shows.
Jerry Jones will be crying like a little girl.
Good to see the Trump hating libs are well represented. Why make it political.
Is Roger Goodell trying to damage the NFL because either he is incompetent or he’s doing it all deliberately.
The NFL gratitiously has approved my absence for the viewing of SB51. I have to plug some gopher holes or sumthin’..

Because he doesn't want The NFL to lose its non-profit status.
Wait a minute. Barky is no longer Preezy.
Yank The NFL's non-profit status, President Trump!
I think I will skip the Super Bowl this year.
My interest in College and NFL games has dwindled since my Father died earlier this month. I enjoyed being with him and watching, but it isn’t the same and my interest has been waning the last several years anyway.
I long for the 1960’s and 1970’s when I was young and growing up, those games held more interest and so did the players. I would gladly watch a Cable Channel that reran old games from that era with the original announcers. What fun that would be.
Today’s NFL is just an abomination.
My plans for Superbowl Sunday will not include watching any football. I hope the Hamilton cast uses the opportunity to inject more politics into the NFL. Like so many institutions have become, professional football will be of, by and for liberals only. They can have it.
Bad choice. Yuck.
They can do as they please. I will not be watching.
