I think it's great he watches. He is not insecure. He wants to know what the latest fake news is so he can rsepond. If Dubya had done this he might have actually fought back.

I agree with the “sources”. Less is more in this case.

Isn’t AP the “news” source that knowingly altered a tweet by Ari Fleisher this week to change its meaning? Then had to apologize for it after they got caught.

“...aides who were not authorized to speak to the press revealed to The Associated Press anonymously...”
A show of hands - who believes this?
And - IF it’s true, how long do you think these “aides” will remain?
This story has more than a whiff of fakeness emanating from it...

And do what instead? He’s entitled to down time and if he wants to watch TV then that’s what he’ll do. And given the crap that’s on the tube these days, news is the only thing worth watching.

President Trump’s advisers are begging him to watch less TV

Nothing but concern trolling by the media.
He needs to fight the media every day. They cannot be allowed to slip back into the camouflage of pretend ‘objective journalists.’
Trump needs to reveal them as they really are, as his (and our) political opponents, and that is a never-ending task that must be done daily.
Bush 43 was a fool for failing to counter the barrage of lies and attacks launched by the media, instead serenely confident that in the long run someday historians would set the record straight. Riiiiiight.

aides who were not authorized to speak to the press Because everyone knows that a week is long enough to wait before undermining an historic election.

The shear amount of work he has accomplished in this week appears to be pretty solid evidence that refutes the premise of this fake news

This is good advice for anybody. I've been following it for years now, and don't miss it one iota. There are a million better uses for time that would benefit Trump, and while TV has its place, it is a net negative. For starters, any book on Madison, Adams, Jefferson, Federalist/Anti-Federalist Papers, etc.
