I disagree with your point of view. The two sides are not symmetrical, as many studies of comparative conservatives vs liberals have shown. Their motivations are different; therefore the will to power is to crush opposition and impose humiliations (by the left), or to empower freedom and dignity in accord with the consent of the governed (by the right).

I realize that you think that we’re doing “God’s work” and they are not, but THEY BELIEVE that they are the good guys and we are the devil.

Politics is a power game and in our system you have to convince the majority of people by whatever means at your disposal that your way is the best way for them.
