Sounds like a reasonable analysis. But whether President Trump is doing this intentionally or it is just the way he is is debatable.

This uncertainty to this question, by the analysis of the best of minds, proves the point perfectly. They don’t know.
To escape a full “gotcha” interview with good/great answers and not getting “trapped” is either (1) complete luck or (2) extremely smart but answering/talking in his random thought type style that yield the good/great answers.
In the end, they can’t figure it out if it is (1) or (2).
But, this is happening too often for it to be (1). Some in the press are starting to figure out they are being sent on massive “squirrel” chases.
