suddenly on Wednesday afternoon, Kennedy and three of his top officials resigned unexpectedly, four State Department officials confirmed.

good riddance..love the winning..keep kicking the pig until it squeals, then show it the trough..
Reported elsewhere: “All four, career officers serving in positions appointed by the President, submitted letters of resignation per tradition at the beginning of a new administration.”
The Trump Administration accepted their resignations along with many others. Standard operating procedure with a new, incoming administration.
End of story.
Well, not exactly. Not if you’re WaPo and want to gen up a fake news story.
And they left me in charge.
More good news.
Kennedy gone????? He was one of the worst there! I think he saw the handwriting on the wall under Trump’s administration. Hope he can still be charged with obstruction and perjury on the Benghazi debacle!
That’s it?
My hope is that Tillerson is just warming up and there will be plenty more to come.
The important thing about this fake “news” story, and in fact all of WaPo’s fake news stories, is that hundreds of other media outlets pick them up in toto without every independently inquiring as to their veracity, and thus WaPo reader comments and any “clarifications” that WaPo may subsequently append do not change the misinformation picked up by the hundreds of other media outlets.
WaPo’s real intent is not to make money from readership or subscriptions but to act as the mother-ship of fake news, outright lies, and assorted other misinformation for hundreds of other media outlets to propagate as if it’s all gospel.
Quit before you’re fired Obamanite sycophants.
Since they resigned they should be denied unemployment insurance - and so they won’t add to the unemployment rate as calculated under Obama.
And that is “bad”, why?
More incompetents and leftist rats abandoning the newly launched “USS AMERICA”?
Were they all Muslim Brotherhood?
Word is their resignations were ordered by Trump.
(big smile)
Also, Patrick Kennedy as a hot potato isn't tough to figure out...foreignpolicy.com was writing about this 7.28.16: The Bureaucrat at the Center of Hillarys Scandals: Patrick Kennedy has been linked to Benghazi and Hillary Clintons private email server. Here's how he survived years of GOP and FBI investigations
> These were career diplomats however.
I believe that may not be true. I heard they were appointments. Remember, not all appointments are Senate approved, but appointments nonetheless, who serve at the pleasure of the President.
Good saves him time in firing thier a##es
GRRRRRRRRREAT!
Question??
How many are Muslims?
The four officials who resigned are with the Undersecretary for Management, as in management of employees and basic logistics (hiring, EEOC, complying with civil service regs, union grievances, keeping the toilets clean and the lawns mowed, keeping the computers secure, communications, etc). It does not set policy.
It is rather minor part of the State Department. See the four yellow circles helow.
The WaPo breathlessly hyped it by writing rather misleadingly that Secretary of State Rex Tillersons job running the State Department just got considerably more difficult. The entire senior level of management officials resigned Wednesday, part of an ongoing mass exodus of senior Foreign Service officers who dont want to stick around for the Trump era. Tillerson's job actually got easier. Why? Because he can now put his own people in for dealing with the civil service, govt unions, etc.
The truth is that 'Management' is a rather minor section. It is internal and does not set policy. The WaPo is blowing it way out of proportion by not explaining what the Undersecretary of Management actually does and in making it seem more important than it actually is on the org chart.
Progress.
