The point is, it's not inflationary.

The greed factor kicks in and the profit margin increases for the domestic manufacturer and the result is more Americans working.

Yes, more working in certain sectors with rising prices and less competition.

Fewer working in those sectors where spending falls due to higher prices in those tariffed sectors.

The tariff reverses the bias in favor of the US worker

Favors some, harms others.

No, at first people will spend the same amount for durable goods but get less product. It will have no effect on other areas.

Every job repatriated will create 2 or 3 service jobs. As domestic supply increase competition will make prices go down. the amount of durable goods they can by for their dollar will make it back to pre tariff levels. it is win-win-win.
