Many towns have ex pat communities. Cabo is overpriced and overrated. Too many Hollywood and manhattan types live there so that is to be expected.
My issue is I love being close to the ocean. I’m on the west coast so Florida is too far, CA coast is so expensive, Rancho Mirage is possible but no ocean. Need a place to go during the Northwest winters.
