It is my understanding from listening to a BBC podcast that the immigration authorities are now processing 800 applications per day every day and this will continue until affirmatively stopped.
It requires only a stroke of the pen by President Trump to stop it and it is not clear why he has failed to do so, if in fact he has, especially in view of his explicit campaign promises.

Nathan, I have appreciated your perspective and your posts a great deal for years now. Thank you. Trump has done more in the first few days of his presidency to keep his campaign promises than any other man elected to the office that I can remember. It has been nothing short of amazing, especially considering the stiff resistance he has been fighting from both sides of the aisle and the media. I believe that we should try and give him the benefit of a small amount patience.
