Taking pictures may not help them if the said “large,angry man” gets out of his car...with a gun.He won’t be beating them up. He will be doing something else entirely.

This sorta happened to my uncle Cowboy, a large Texan, who also happened to be a sheriff.
He was transporting a prisoner from West Texas to somewhere near Oakland, CA. The car he was driving wasn’t marked as a police car.
Some dude driving behind him in the ghetto bumped into the car and I guess figured he would get all belligerent about it. Cowboy started getting out of his car, and with his Stetson hat and cowboy boots looked even larger than he was, with a huge cannon of a gun holstered on his hip. One of the local bystanders yelled out “Good Gawd, that (n-word) done hit the sheriff!”
No photos or beatings ensued, the careless driver apologized and beat a hasty retreat.
